Phinney Ridge
Phinney Ridge, also known as Phinney, is a neighborhood in north central Seattle. It is named after the ridge which runs north and south, separating Ballard and Green Lake. Numerous shops and restaurants line the main throughway along the top of the hill, Phinney Ave. You will notice many new townhomes and condo projects along the ridge. People love this area because of the views and quick access to areas all over the city.
Things to see in Phinney Ridge
*Woodland Park Zoo*
The city purchased the land in 1899 from Guy C. Phinney, long resident of the area and real estate developer. The park is open 9:30am to 6:30 pm daily.

*Phinney Neighborhood Association*
PNA is a non-profit community organization founded in 1980. Programs and activities are available to anyone in the Puget Sound Region.

*Farmers Market*
Located at the Phinney Neighborhood Association on the corner of 67th and Phinney. Open May 16- Oct. 3 on Friday's from 3pm- 7pm.

El Chupacabra, or "goat sucker," is a (probably) mythical vampire-like creature that preys on animals in the wilds of Puerto Rico, Mexico and Bolivia. This Chupacabra is a bar and Mexican kitchen that is tucked inside a converted home and offers a non pretentious feel and very tasty food! Open for lunch and dinner.
