Seattle's Madrona neighborhood overlooks Lake Washington from the eastern rim of the city. It is a mostly residential neighborhood with the motto "The Peaceable Kingdom" which reflects its racially-mixed heritage. Enjoy great views from this community!

*Madrona Park and Beach*
Madrona Park and Beach is located on the waterfront on Lake Washington. The 31.20 acre park includes a wooded hillside that slopes down to a grassy beach and swimming area, where lifeguards are on duty in the summer.

The local library was built in 1919 and recently underwent a 900K renovation and reopened in May 2008.

*Madrona Playground*
Nestled in a dense residential neighborhood, this park and playground provide recreation space for the neighborhood and adjacent Madrona K-8 School. The shelter house is also well used by the community.
