Bellevue was long considered a satellite city of Seattle, but is now the fifth largest city in the State. Lincoln Square which opened in 2005 and a recently-completed overhaul of the former Qwest building into a new City Hall appear to be the leading edge of a development boom. Over the next few years, the area will see the construction of several additional high-rises and other projects for office, resdiential, and retail space. |
Things to do in Bellevue
*Lincoln Square*
Recently completed Lincoln Square offeres a large cinema, a variety restaurants and loads of retail. Spend an hour or a week!
*Bellevue Downtown Park*
This 20 plus acre park is located on the South end of Bellevue. It has a 240-foot wide waterfall which emptys into a small pool. Simply beautiful!
*Bellevue Botanical Gardens*
Enjoy classes, auctions and more at the Botanical Gardens. The gardens are open from 5 9:30 PM through December. Come and enjoy thousands of lights used to create spectacular botanical displays.
