This month's focus area.... Ballard
Ballard is growing. At the beginning of 2007 nearly 20 major condominium/ retail projects were under construction. The most recent addition to Ballard is the Safeway gas station located at Market and 15th NW. Adjacent from that, a new eight story condominium project is underway, despite community efforts to make the Denny's building a historical landmark. Dennys was built in 1964 in the Googie Design and has been a longtime Ballard landmark.
