The Green Lake Community is located to the North and East of Green Lake, a freshwater lake in North Central Seattle. Things to do in Green Lake *Around the Lake* The path surrounding the lake is divided into two lanes– one for pedestrians and one for bicycles, roller blades and other wheeled unmotorized vehicles. Enjoy the green fields for volleyball, soccer, baseball. *On the Lake* Sailboats, pedal boats, rowboats, skiffs and canoes are found all over the lake. Motorized boats have been banned since 1968, use to be the location of hydroplane races 1929-1984. *The Seattle Public Theater at the Bathhouse* Originally was used as a bathhouse, located next to the swimming area.
