Magnolia is the second largest neighborhood of Seattle by area, not population. It is home to Discovery Park which is 534 acres, making it Seattle's largest park. It is also home to U.S. Army's Fort Lawtonl. You can look west over the water and enjoy the Olympic Mountains or admire the sparkling city views! |
Things to do in Magnolia
*Discovery Park*
Walk along the beach to West Point Lighthouse or throughout the numerous wooden trails.
*Smith Cove*
Home of Magnolia's marina. Some of Seattle's finest boats are here. Watch ships come in through Puget Sound!
*Local Seattle Public Library*
Built in 1964 it's architects' won top awards for it's design. In the children's section there is a bronze sculpture titled 'Activity of Thought' |
